The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid published changes to its regulations for acute care hospitals and critical access hospitals in 2012 including a change regarding the composition of the medical staff and credentialing for telemedicine. This program will discuss these changes and will also discuss what CMS expects to see when surveying a hospital for compliance with credentialing and privileging of physicians and other practitioners.
